Ukrainian company Wild Hornets, which produces drones for the Defense Forces — including the STING interceptor drones — reported that its products have inflicted approximately $2 billion in damage on the Russian military.

The company clarified that this figure is based on open-source data, so the real estimate may be higher.

As of early October, Ukrainian forces using Wild Hornets drones have destroyed 153 tanks, 231 armored vehicles, 124 artillery systems/MLRS, 669 vehicles and ammunition depots, more than 600 Iranian‑Russian Shahed and Gerbera drones, and 1,268 reconnaissance and strike drones.

They have also struck over 1,000 Russian soldiers and their positions and destroyed four air defense systems.

“We are working to make these numbers continually and substantially grow,” Wild Hornets said.

The Sting drone was first shown last autumn. It became the first UAV specifically developed to engage Iranian-made Shahed drones used by Russia. At the same time, the Sting costs significantly less than the Russian‑Iranian drones, can fly at speeds above 160 km/h, and reach altitudes of about 3 km.
