Vadym Skibitsky, a representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense, commented on the role of technology in the Russian-Ukrainian war during a broadcast on Apostrophe TV.

“There is evolution. Many robotic systems, unmanned systems have emerged, aimed at protecting the soldier and saving lives. And this evolution is happening very quickly,” said Vadym Skibitsky.

According to him, high-tech weaponry requires more capital investment. At the same time, the rapid development of military technology leads to the emergence of cheaper but equally effective means of destruction.

“We need to liberate our occupied territories by any means, using the full spectrum of available weapons, from high-tech modern foreign-made ones to all types of weapons produced by our defense industry,” stated the representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate.

He emphasized that Ukraine only targets military objectives of the aggressor state.

“To disrupt plans, disrupt the logistics system, and disrupt the production of weapons in Russia, appropriate strikes are necessary. Even the Russians themselves acknowledge that we only hit military objects and facilities that support the conduct of war,” noted Vadym Skibitsky.
