Danylo Movchan is a Lviv artist who changes his iconographic language at the beginning of a full-scale invasion. Turning to familiar symbols and signs, in his war diaries, he transforms his own experience by spreading it to biblical stories. Familiar images transform but, at the same time, preserve the everyday spirituality in which a person lives.
Over time, we stop being afraid of death because we believe that a person cannot simply disappear from the face of the earth. It remains to live forever in memory. It overcomes death. And every day we ask: "Death! Where is your sting? Hell! Where is your victory?

The exhibition project is dedicated to the anniversary of the Russian Federation's full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
