Rebrov will become the new coach of the Ukrainian national team

The new coach of the Ukrainian national team will be the former coach of “Dynamo”, “Al-Ahli Saudi FC” and “Ferencvárosi TC” Sergey Rebrov.

The 47-year-old coach has agreed to break the contract with Al-Ain and will be presented as a coach of the Ukrainian national team on Monday 09 August. He will replace Andriy Shevchenko.

Rebrov will sign a 2 + 1 contract. Thus, the specialist will lead the “blue-yellow” in the selection for the World Cup 2022 and European Championship 2024. After the selection for the continental championship is over, the agreement may be extended for another year.

The official website of Al-Ahli Saudi FC has not yet confirmed this information. Rebrov led the team from the UAE only two months ago.
