It became known that Russian-Nazi troops dropped high-explosive bombs banned throughout the world on Chernihiv. In particular, we are talking about the OFZAB-500 high-explosive fragmentation bomb.

This is a war crime

Analysts from the Conflict Intelligence Team reported this. They examined photos and videos of the destroyed Chernihiv, which documented the invaders' use of this prohibited weapon.

Thus, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine published footage of rescuers clearing unexploded ordnance in Chernihiv. In one of the videos, you can recognize the FAB-500 high-explosive aerial bomb.

According to the Conflict Intelligence Team experts, this bomb has already been seen in Chernihiv after the downing of a Russian Su-34 on 5 March.

“This time we were not sure that these bombs should have been dropped on Chernihiv, since they fell along with the downed aircraft. However, this time, one of the photos of the DSNS shows the wreckage of the OFZAB-500 that went off, which practically leaves no there is no doubt that this incendiary bomb was used to bomb Chernihiv," writes CIT.

Analysts emphasize that international law prohibits the use of such bombs. It does not matter whether the attack was on a military or civilian object. This is a war crime.
