Over the past day, Russian strikes have targeted several cities and settlements in Ukraine, resulting in injuries, destruction of civilian infrastructure, and tragic loss of life.

Kharkiv Region

In Kharkiv and five nearby settlements, nine people were wounded during a series of Russian attacks. According to Oleh Synehubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, those injured include a 64-year-old man in Kharkiv, four women aged between 42 and 77, and three men aged 50 to 80 in Kupiansk, as well as a 49-year-old man in the village of Vodyane.

The enemy targeted the Kyiv district of Kharkiv with eight drones and struck the region with a heavy mix of weapons, including 30 unguided aviation missiles, guided bombs, and various types of UAVs such as Shahed, Geran-2, Lancet, and Molniya drones.

Infrastructure damage was widespread: in Kharkiv, a multi-apartment building and an outbuilding were damaged; Kupiansk district saw damage to residential buildings and a hangar; and one building was hit in Chuhuiv district.

Sumy Region

Russian forces launched nearly 90 attacks across 27 settlements in the Sumy region, primarily in the Sumy and Shostka districts, the Sumy Regional Military Administration reported. The shelling included more than 50 grenade drops from drones, as well as missile and UAV strikes.

While there were no casualties, private houses in the Yunakivska community and non-residential buildings in the Bezdrytska community suffered damage. Authorities evacuated 71 residents from border communities amid a nearly 16-hour air raid alert.

Donetsk Region

Donetsk continues to face deadly attacks. On June 24 alone, Russian forces killed three civilians—in Pokrovsk, Zoloti Prudy, and Novoyavlenka—and injured 11 more, according to Vadym Filashkin, head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration. The cumulative civilian toll in the region now stands at 3,287 killed and 7,371 wounded, excluding data from Mariupol and Volnovakha.

Kherson Region

Russian aggression also claimed one life and injured eight others in Kherson region over the past day, according to Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the Kherson Regional State Administration. The attacks hit a wide range of settlements, including Kherson city itself.

The strikes damaged seven apartment buildings, 22 private houses, a cell tower, gas pipelines, agricultural machinery, and private vehicles.

Zaporizhzhia Region

In Zaporizhzhia, Russian missile strikes damaged nine private houses overnight. Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, reported that local rescuers, utility workers, emergency services, and charities are actively working to repair and secure the damaged properties.

Utility workers boarded up broken windows in six houses to protect residents and prevent further damage.
