The State Enterprise Sea Trade Port ‘Pivdennyi’ has undergone an inspection of the unloading process from specialized hopper wagons used for transporting pellets.

This was reported by the enterprise’s press service.

As noted, confirmation of the port’s technological readiness has allowed it to expand cooperation with cargo owners and attract additional volumes of exported ore cargo.

“Efficient unloading of specialized rolling stock requires strict compliance with technological parameters at every stage. Successful completion of the inspection proves that the port infrastructure and the qualifications of our specialists are ready to increase the intensity of handling such cargo. This makes it possible to offer reliable solutions to partners and increase production performance,” said the director of the State Enterprise ‘Sea Trade Port ‘Pivdennyi’’, Artem Litvinov.

Following the inspection, full compliance of production processes with established requirements was confirmed. This opens new prospects for cooperation with clients and strengthens the port’s position in the transshipment market.

“The enterprise is fully ready to increase cargo handling volumes. Further realization of this potential depends on the restoration of railway logistics capabilities, in particular traction rolling stock that was damaged as a result of enemy strikes,” the statement said.
