Russian forces have reduced the activity of aviation, artillery, and overall combat engagements. The Armed Forces of Ukraine are steadfastly holding positions on the Avdiivka direction, according to General Oleksandr Tarnavsky, the commander of the Joint Forces Operation "Tavria."

"The enemy has reduced the activity of aviation, artillery, and the overall number of combat engagements. They continue attempts to advance with infantry, losing almost 500 personnel. In the operational zone of the JFO 'Tavria,' the enemy carried out 4 air strikes, engaged in 34 combat clashes, and conducted 648 artillery shelling," wrote Tarnavsky summarizing the past day.

Tarnavsky emphasized that "our defenders are steadfastly holding the defense on the Avdiivka direction."

According to the commander, the total losses of the enemy for the day amounted to 495 personnel. Eight units of military equipment were destroyed, including 4 armored vehicles, 2 UAVs, and 2 vehicles. Another 13 units of enemy equipment were damaged.

"The offensive operation continues on the Melitopol direction," Tarnavsky reported.
