The current operational situation in the south of Ukraine
Fighting continues on the line of contact. The enemy, bound by the possibility of maneuvering on land, can retreat only on the line of defense.

An air battle took place near Snihurivka. An air-to-air missile was fired from a Su-35 fighter jet on a pair of our Mi-8s, and helicopters managed to dodge. The enemy retreated, saving missiles.
Attempts of air reconnaissance with the help of UAVs continued during the day. In addition to the Orlan-10 shot down in the morning over Mykolaiv in the Kherson region, the anti-aircraft missile unit shot down one more, and from the small arms also got the usual quadcopter.

In the Odessa region, during the day, two extreme divers were found by the patrol units of the municipal guard and the border service. The men hunted for mollusks, despite warnings, bans and dangers. Given the specifics of such activities, particularly under the legal regime of martial law, both men were transferred to the Security Service of Ukraine to clarify all the circumstances.
The enemy fleet in the north-western part of the Black Sea currently consists of 4 ships – cruise missile carriers – and 3 landing ships. The blockade of shipping, psychological pressure, and threats from the sea remain relevant.
