The Defense Forces shot down 130 Russian drones

On the night of March 10, 2025 (starting from 6:00 PM on March 9), the Russian forces launched an attack with 176 Shahed-type strike drones and various types of decoy drones from the directions of Shatalovo, Millerovo, Kursk, Bryansk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (Russia), and Chauda (Crimea).

The air assault was countered by aviation, air defense missile forces, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups of the Air Force and Ukraine’s Defense Forces.

As of 8:00 AM, 130 Shahed-type strike drones and other UAVs had been confirmed shot down over the regions of Kharkiv, Poltava, Sumy, Chernihiv, Cherkasy, Kyiv, Kirovohrad, Zhytomyr, Vinnytsia, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Donetsk, Odessa, Mykolaiv, and Kherson.

Additionally, 42 decoy drones were lost due to localization failure (without negative consequences).

As a result of the Russian attack, Kharkiv, Poltava, and Kyiv regions suffered damage.
