Less resources, more interest in new solutions and AI, greater digital literacy, and contingency plans for all scenarios – these are the main trends observed in the Ukrainian market from August 2022 to August 2023.

30 new business managers, marketers, business owners, and project managers who collectively oversee more than 500 projects, including internet stores, cloud services, and applications, shared their insights about changes in the Ukrainian and global markets with the digital agency Netpeak.

The Ukrainian market for digital services has become faster (yes, even faster), more informed, with a focus on performance and innovative solutions.

The number of inquiries from entrepreneurs wanting to expand abroad to Western Europe and the United States has significantly increased. This includes both manufacturing and services. Many Ukrainian businesses are venturing into Poland and Romania.

The number of inquiries for media advertising has decreased, while there is a higher demand for performance-oriented services such as SEO, PPC, email marketing, comprehensive Amazon business setup, and work on other marketplaces. Business leaders have less money and want faster and higher-quality results.

Almost all Ukrainian businesses have returned to pre-war performance levels, although there are a few niches that couldn't recover or have completely disappeared. These include real estate, tourism, and events. There has been a significant decrease in requests for influencer marketing.

There's a trend where company founders are more actively involved in marketing issues, and project managers communicate much more frequently with C-level executives than with hired employees on the client's side.
