The European robotics systems developer ARX Robotics will open an office in Ukraine at the beginning of next year. As reported by ARX Robotics Ukraine CEO Ihor Korniolov during the ForbesTech technology conference, the ARX Robotics office in Ukraine will be launched in January–February 2025.
"The focus of the Ukrainian office will be on technical specialists who will service the systems we supply to the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine," said ARX Robotics Ukraine CEO. He added that the staff will include hardware and software engineers, as well as technical support specialists for operational maintenance.
Initially, the office will employ up to 10 people, but the staff will expand as ARX Robotics' supplies to the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine increase. Ukrainian specialists will also be involved in the company’s R&D process.
"Now Ukraine has become the Silicon Valley for the defense-tech industry," said ARX Robotics CEO Mark Witfeld during his speech at Forbes Tech 2024.
Founded in 2022, the ARX Robotics startup develops autonomous robots. The company manufactures modular unmanned ground systems and sensors for military and commercial applications.
Since its founding, ARX Robotics has created 12 robots, which have been deployed in Germany and Ukraine. The company’s robots are already in service and have been tested by the armed forces of Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and Hungary.
