The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has approved and submitted to the Verkhovna Rada an updated version of the draft law on mobilization.

This information became known from the parliament's website.

It is noted that the draft law "On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine on Certain Issues of Military Service, Mobilization, and Military Accounting" is registered in the parliament under No. 10449.

The press service of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine on Telegram reported that comments and suggestions to the draft law have been taken into account in collaboration with the General Staff, the government, and members of parliament.

"This draft law establishes transparent rules for the mobilization process, as well as necessary regulation of the rights of military personnel and conscripts," the statement said.

The text of the draft law is not yet published on the parliament's website, but according to the Ministry of Defense's infographic on the draft law, it specifies a clear term of service during a state of war.

It is established that individuals with disabilities of all groups are exempt from military service.

Volunteers during mobilization will have a deferment of 2 months to address personal matters and prepare for mobilization.

It is provided that individuals will not need to go to the Territorial Military Commissions to update their data. This can be done online in the personal cabinet or at the Center for Administrative Services.

The electronic cabinet will be created based on the registry of conscripts "Oberig."

An individual can move to other cities without the permission of the ТЦК, but after moving, they must register at the new address.

The document also establishes that after mobilization, all citizens must undergo mandatory military training for 2-3 months.

It emphasizes that an individual cannot be sent immediately to the front after mobilization.

The draft law proposes to abolish compulsory military service. Instead, it suggests introducing basic military training.

According to the draft law, individuals aged 18-24 will be offered the opportunity to choose when to undergo military training.

The training itself will take a maximum of 5 months, and the person will retain their job during this time, which is not currently provided for in existing legislation.

The draft law includes an annual basic leave for military personnel during a state of war. It may be granted in parts but must be at least 15 calendar days.

It is proposed that military personnel released from captivity should receive an additional 90 days of leave with the preservation of financial support if they decide to continue their service.
