Yuzhny seaport has exceeded the largest annual cargo handling rate in the entire history of the harbour. This is evidenced by a report of the State company "Seaports of Ukraine" (USPA).


According to the operational information of the main dispatching administration of the port, from the beginning of 2020, as of November 14, a cargo turnover of 53.882 million tons of cargo was recorded. Cargo transshipment at the end of 2019 amounted to a record 53.862 million tons.

According to the actual data of the USPA, the Yuzhny seaport in January-October 2020 increased its cargo turnover compared to the same period last year by 17.6%, up to 51.558 million tons.

Yuzhny (Pivdenny in Ukrainian) seaport is located on the shores of the Adzhalyk estuary on the northwestern coast of the Black Sea. The number of cargo berths is 19, the length of the cargo berth front is 4.946 kilometers. Since June 21, 2014, the port has a draft of 18.5 meters. The harbour is the deepest in the Ukrainian Black Sea waters. According to the USPA register, LLC Transinvestservice, SE MTP Yuzhny, LLC Delta Wilmar CIS, PJSC Odessa Port Plant, PJSC Ukrtransnafta, LLC Borivazh, DP Seaside-Ukraine, operate in the port LLC "Risoil - Yug" and other port operators.

Yuzhny seaport in 2019 increased its cargo turnover by 26.1% compared to the same period last year, to 53.862 million tons. The share of the port in the cargo turnover of the seaports of Ukraine amounted to 33.7% against 31.6% in 2018 and 2017.
