The Ministry for Communities and Territories Development has launched an overhaul of the management system for key state enterprises in maritime and inland water transport.
According to the ministry’s press service on Telegram,
“The Ministry has begun a planned update of management teams and governance systems in the main state enterprises of the maritime and inland water transport sector. The first steps included the dismissal of the leadership of the Ukrainian Danube Shipping Company (UDP) and the Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority (AMPU).”
The ministry stated that the resignation of the head of JSC UDP has already been approved by the recently formed supervisory board. A transparent competition for the position is now being opened, and the creation of a supervisory board at AMPU is being initiated in parallel.
It was emphasized that similar measures will later be implemented in the railway and transport, as well as aviation sectors.
