The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has completed the codification process and officially approved the Ukrainian unmanned aerial system Vespa-15 for use in the Armed Forces.

According to the Main Directorate for Lifecycle Support of Weapons and Military Equipment, the name 'Vespa' translates from Italian as "wasp." This drone truly has a "sting": its strike capabilities allow it to destroy not only enemy personnel but also armored vehicles, transport, shelters, and other battlefield targets.

The Vespa-15 system includes several modifications adapted for day and night operations. Its UAVs can cover distances of several dozen kilometers and carry a significant combat load while demonstrating high resistance to enemy electronic warfare measures.

"The system has drone modifications for performing various tasks during both day and night," the ministry emphasized.

Earlier, the Ministry of Defense also codified other Ukrainian drones: the "Amaga-10" and "BATON," which are already in service with the Defense Forces. Additionally, the Ukrainian military recently received the latest missile drone "Peklo," capable of speeds up to 700 km/h and a range of over 700 km.
