Under the leadership of Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Stanislav Haider, the Ministry of Defense held the inaugural meeting of a working group tasked with developing the Integrated Defense System model aimed at enhancing Ukraine's military, geopolitical, and economic capabilities.
As part of the model development, the plan includes the formulation of proposals for legislative changes and the creation of corresponding policies to build an integrated defense ecosystem, strengthening the military and institutional resilience of the state.
"In developing the model, we are acting systematically and integrally – all key institutional development projects of the Ministry of Defense are being developed with consideration of the future model vision. Five priorities have been identified to be worked on to build a quality integrated model," noted Stanislav Haider.
The working group will focus on five main directions:
• Military policy, institutionalism, and international cooperation
• Military-technical policy
• Human capital management policy
• Defense resource management policy
• National resistance
The working group consists of 176 representatives from key defense agencies, ministries, scientific, and research institutions. The group's results will be presented by the end of the current year.
