Ukrgazvydobuvannya, a part of the Naftogaz Group, has already launched the fourth high-flow well since the beginning of the year, providing Ukraine with approximately 400,000 cubic meters of gas per day.

Even among high-flow wells, this object is one of the most productive. This is the result of the effective and coordinated work of a large team of the Naftogaz Group at all stages—from design to drilling and commissioning.

"I sincerely thank all the specialists who contributed to this process. Thanks to your work, Ukraine becomes more resilient and stronger," said the head of the Naftogaz Group, Oleksiy Chernyshov.

The idea of launching this well belongs to the team of developers from the Ukrainian Research Institute of Natural Gas (UkrNDIGas), also part of the Naftogaz Group. They correctly assessed the residual potential of the old field, successfully identified the site for drilling, and demonstrated the high prospectivity of drilling in this area.

During the work, a daily record was also set for drilling by one crew—905 meters in 24 hours. Thanks to the efficient work of Ukrburhaz specialists, the well was completed 30% faster than projected, in just 105 days.

Specialists from Ukrgazvydobuvannya also reduced the risks of the negative impact of drilling mud on reservoirs. Thus, during drilling in the productive intervals, a hydrocarbon-based solution was used, allowing such results to be achieved.

"Due to more efficient dismantling of the main drilling equipment, early completion of preparatory work, which accelerated the installation of industrial communications for the well, the facility was put into operation several days ahead of schedule and with a high flow rate," added Oleg Tolmachev, Acting CEO of Ukrgazvydobuvannya.
