The National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption has included the Italian group of companies Camozzi in the list of international war sponsors. They are still operating in Russia.
The decision was made due to the company's continued business activities in Russia, collaboration with the Russian military-industrial complex (MIC), and the operation of their plant in the temporarily occupied territory of Crimea.
Camozzi's clients in Russia include plants associated with the aggressor's military-industrial complex, the products of which are actively used in the war against Ukraine, specifically JSC "Izhorskiye Zavody," JSC "Kolomensky Zavod," JSC "Silovye Mashiny," JSC "NPK Uralvagonzavod," and the "PetrozavodskMash" holding.
Furthermore, the Italian Camozzi Group has been collaborating with the non-sanctioned AT "Tikhvin Railcar Building Plant" and JSC "Chelyabinsk Zinc Plant" since the start of the full-scale invasion. These companies are controlled by non-sanctioned Russian oligarchs Iskandar Mahmudov and Andrey Bokarev.
In addition, the company operates the "Mechanical Assembly Plant Camozzi Pneumatics" in Simferopol. Camozzi does not mention its operations in Crimea on its official website, presumably due to concerns about international condemnation.
In Russia, Camozzi operates through LLC "Camozzi Pneumatics." They have 32 branches, 500 employees, and 80,000 enterprise clients.
In Ukraine, the Camozzi Group is also represented. Specifically, the list of founders of the legal entity Camozzi in Ukraine still includes Russian citizen Alexey Kistichenko, who heads the Russian representation of Camozzi," they added in the message
