On February 23, 2023, the Russian occupation troops shelled Kherson. As a result of the blow, the main pipeline providing heating for about 600 houses was damaged.
As President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said in his video message, more than 40,000 people were left without heat. The head of state noted that he received detailed reports on the situation in Kherson during the evening.
"There, as a result of another Russian strike, the main pipeline was damaged, which provided heating for about 600 houses - more than 40,000 people," he stressed.
Zelensky said that repair work would continue continuously until heat supplies are restored.
"And we will restore! Whatever these Russian terrorists and freaks do, we will restore everything," the President assured.
