The SBU exposed a collaborating official who helped the Russian Federation transfer armored vehicles from Crimea to Kherson region
Since the beginning of the full-scale aggression of the Russian Federation, the Security Service has been investigating more than 800 criminal proceedings based on the facts of collaborative activity.
Among the suspects are high-ranking officials of state institutions who are in the temporarily occupied territories of the south and east of Ukraine.
In particular, SBU employees documented the criminal actions of the deputy director of the Department of Construction and Infrastructure Development of the Kherson Regional State Administration. The official voluntarily agreed to cooperate with the enemy.
For this, the aggressors appointed him the head of the so-called “state unitary enterprise Kherson Iron Way”.
While in the “post”, he organized the appropriation of technological equipment and rolling stock of local divisions of Ukrzaliznytsia for the benefit of the occupation administration.
Also, the collaborator personally contributed to the transfer of armored vehicles and ammunition of the Russian Federation from the temporarily occupied Crimea to the Black Sea regions of the Kherson region using this transport.
SBU employees have located him and are conducting comprehensive measures to bring him to justice for crimes against our state.
In addition, in the Luhansk region, the special service exposed four former representatives of the Party of Regions, who voluntarily agreed to join the leadership of the occupation administration of the so-called “Starobilsk district of the LPR”.
The security service identified the identity of each collaborator, documented the facts of their crimes and reported suspicions.
Investigative and operational actions are ongoing to expose and neutralize the subversive activities of other helpers of the occupiers.
