The first delivery of humanitarian aid from Turkey to fight coronavirus epidemic has been transferred to Odessa Maternity Hospital No. 2 and the Odessa City Infectious Diseases Hospital, as reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.

The Ministry also declared that Ukrainian diplomats around the world are committed to search for all options that could help Ukraine curb the spread of Covid-19 infection and save lives.

Andriy Sybiha, Ukrainian Ambassador to Turkey, said earlier that the School of Medicine of the University of Ankara handed over to Ukraine the batch of humanitarian supplies, consisting of 3,500 surgical masks and 100 gowns to protect medical staff.
