Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Serhii Boiev held a meeting with Colonel Frédéric Balle, France’s Defense Attaché for Armaments, and Thomas Moreau, Head of the Representative Office of the French Defense and Security Industry Association for the Land and Air-Land Sectors (GICAT) in Ukraine.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the development of joint projects in the defense industry.
“Interceptor solutions for Ukraine are a priority. We continue to expand cooperation with our partners to provide our soldiers with effective air defense systems,” emphasized Serhii Boiev.
The sides also discussed the possibilities of financing joint projects, including through European funding mechanisms.

In addition, they reviewed cooperation between Ukrainian and French defense companies in producing air defense and missile defense systems and missiles for them; repairing equipment; testing innovative solutions; supplying components; and developing new types of weaponry based on the experience of modern warfare.
The French side confirmed its readiness to implement new joint production projects in Ukraine.
Serhii Boiev thanked France for its consistent support and partnership, which contributes to strengthening Ukraine’s defense capabilities.
