Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha and Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar have agreed to launch a separate dialogue on the Iranian threat amid shared security concerns.

Sybiha announced this during a joint press conference with Sa’ar in Kyiv on Wednesday.

"Today, our countries face common security challenges. Iran and Russia pose an existential threat not only to our nations but to global security as well," said Sybiha.

He emphasized that Iran continues to destabilize the region and is attempting to advance its nuclear programme. The Ukrainian foreign minister stressed that Moscow and Tehran have "formed a united alliance of criminal regimes that support each other and threaten the entire free world."

"Against the backdrop of these threats, we agreed to deepen bilateral cooperation. And today, we decided to initiate a separate dialogue on the Iranian threat. The minister and I have agreed on this," Sybiha noted.
