An Agreement on mutual recognition and exchange of national driving licenses between Ukraine and Turkey entered into force.

This means that citizens of Ukraine who have moved to Turkey for temporary or permanent residence can exchange their Ukrainian driving license for a Turkish one without passing theoretical and practical exams. Similarly, Turkish citizens who temporarily or permanently reside in Ukraine and have a Turkish driver's license can exchange it without passing exams at the service center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

The bilateral agreement covers driving licenses for all categories of vehicles.
