The Armed Forces of Ukraine attacked the Ilsky oil refinery in Krasnodar Krai with drones on the night of September 7. The regional operational headquarters reported that one of the technological units caught fire from falling debris. The refinery personnel were evacuated. It is claimed that no one was injured. The Armed Forces of Ukraine General Staff confirmed the attack on the refinery, noting that this facility, with a capacity of 6.6 million tons per year, “is involved in supplying the Russian armed forces.” The Ilsky refinery was previously attacked on July 7.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine also reported a strike on the “8-N” linear-production dispatch station of the Druzhba oil pipeline in Naitopovychi. The facility is located in Bryansk region and is strategically important for transporting petroleum products from Belarus, including from the Mozyr and Novopolotsk refineries, noted the commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces, Robert Brovdi. The General Staff specified that the attack caused “multiple hits followed by a fire in the area of the pumping station and tank farm.” The station is used to supply the Russian military.
Authorities in Bryansk region reported two drones were shot down. According to Governor Alexander Bogomaz, there were no casualties or damage.
The “8-N” station belongs to Transneft. Previously, the Armed Forces of Ukraine struck it on August 29. A day before that, Hungary banned entry to Brovdi, an ethnic Hungarian, due to the attacks on the Druzhba oil pipeline, through which Russian oil is supplied to Hungary and Slovakia.
