The High Anti-Corruption Court has granted the Ministry of Justice's lawsuit to impose sanctions by transferring the assets of the Russian company "Tatneft" to state ownership.
This was reported by the Ministry of Justice’s press service.
PJSC Tatneft named after V.D. Shashin is one of the largest industrial conglomerates in Russia’s oil extraction, refining, and distribution sector.
This company, strategically important to the aggressor state, consistently pays substantial taxes to the Russian budget, which funds the development and maintenance of Russia’s military-industrial complex.
Tatneft’s enterprises bolster Russia’s energy and economic potential, which its political leadership uses to wage an aggressive war against Ukraine.
One of the group’s key projects is the TANECO oil refinery complex in Nizhnekamsk, Tatarstan, which produces around 20 types of products, including aviation kerosene and diesel fuel supplied to Russia’s military-industrial enterprises.
The High Anti-Corruption Court ruled to apply sanctions against Tatneft under Clause 1-1, Part 1, Article 4 of Ukraine’s Law "On Sanctions."
As a result of the court's decision, the following corporate rights of companies directly owned by "Tatneft" were transferred to the Ukrainian state:
- 100% stake in "Tatneft-AZS-Ukraine" LLC
- 92.98% stake in "Kharkiv-Capital" LLC
- 88.97% stake in "Poltava-Capital" LLC
These companies own oil depots, gas stations, non-residential buildings, land plots, fuel tankers, and vehicles in Kharkiv and Poltava regions.
