Ukraine and Lithuania are set to initiate joint drone production. Foreign Ministers of both countries discussed steps to increase production.

This was reported by Ukraine's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dmytro Kuleba, during a joint press conference with the Lithuanian Foreign Minister, Gabrielius Landsbergis.

"Today, Gabrielius and I focused on implementing the agreements reached by the president (during the visit to Lithuania - Ed.), and a significant part of the conversation was devoted to defining joint steps to increase drone production for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Lithuania has the technology, and we have the capabilities to scale up production. This was a key topic," stated Kuleba.

The Lithuanian minister noted that projects contributing to Ukraine's defense and strengthening Lithuania's defense capabilities would receive attention from the government.

"We can start with the production of components and what is needed on the battlefield, especially what will be necessary for drone production. We are talking about a limited quantity initially. I think this can happen very quickly," said Landsbergis.

Additionally, according to Kuleba, the sides discussed Ukraine's path to the EU and NATO, issues related to Russia's frozen assets, sanctions, and the establishment of a military fund by the EU for Ukraine.
