The State Border Service and other defense forces are carrying out enhanced security measures on the border with Transnistria and Belarus.
Ukrainian border guards have stepped up security measures on the border of Ukraine with Belarus and in the area with the unrecognized Transnistria.
This was announced at a briefing in the media center of Ukraine by the representative of the State Border Service Andriy Demchenko.
According to him, the State Border Service and other defense forces are carrying out enhanced security measures on the border between Ukraine and Moldova in the area with Transnistria and the border with Belarus.
"On the border with Moldova, in the area with Transnistria, and on the border with Belarus, security measures have been strengthened to prevent escalation in these directions. We stand together with the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and other components of the security and defense forces and are ready to take action if enemies will try to invade," Demchenko said.
On April 9, in the Lugansk region, the enemy attacked the positions of border guards with kamikaze drones, one of the unmanned aerial vehicles was destroyed. In particular, two Ukrainian border guards with small-arms fire destroyed an aircraft-type drone that attacked their positions.
