Don't expect any significant changes in the operational situation following the change in command of the Russian Black Sea Fleet. This was stated by the spokesperson of the Ukrainian Navy, Dmytro Pletenchuk, during the United News telethon, when asked if he sees any changes in the activities of the Russian fleet in the Black Sea after the appointment of Alexander Moiseev as the acting commander of the Russian Navy.

"We need to understand that this is all one school, and expecting any extraordinary changes is not worth it. Yes, they have slightly changed tactics by strengthening the aerial component, increasing patrols of the coastal area with drones, helicopters, and other airborne units. But this tactic, in principle, was inherited from his predecessor," Pletenchuk noted.

According to him, the Russians continue to seek solutions to the situation that has arisen for them in the Black Sea, where they are currently essentially on the defensive.

"Therefore, to say that the situation has fundamentally changed is also not possible at the moment," Pletenchuk informed.

Responding to a question about which ships are the most dangerous and critical for Ukraine, the spokesperson noted that the greatest threat remains posed by carriers of cruise missiles and maritime platforms capable of launching them.

"Among them are submarines, of which there are currently 3 units, unfortunately. And yes, of course, these objects are more difficult to strike. However, it should not be forgotten that any submarine is still based at a base in a surfaced position," he said.
