The repertoire of the Odessa Ukrainian Vasylko Theater currently consists of 26 performances, from productions based on Ukrainian classical texts to contemporary drama, which have consistently won top prizes at various international festivals. The performances created by a new wave of talented directors - Maxim Golenko, Ivan Urivsky, Igor Ravitsky - have been very successful. In addition to performances, the theater also hosts interviews with celebrities, creative meetings with directors and press conferences with well-known artists.

A performance that reveals the beauty of the Ukrainian land - the wild, untainted world of the Hutsuls. This musical work, with an abundance of metaphorical scenes and image-symbols, is about generational continuity, about the historical roots of the people. At the centre of the scene lies Ivan’s and Marichka’s marriage story, filled with tragedy, love, war and humanity.
