Today, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Joint Stock Company Ukrainian Defense Industry and the Danish company Weibel Scientific. This will strengthen Ukraine's defense capabilities and contribute to deeper integration of the domestic defense industry into the European defense-industrial and innovation base. The signing ceremony took place at the Munich Conference, with the presence of the Minister for Strategic Industries of Ukraine, Herman Smetanin.
The cooperation between Ukroboronprom and the Danish arms manufacturer provides opportunities to create maintenance and repair services for Weibel's advanced radar solutions in Ukraine, jointly develop new technologies, establish a joint venture, and collaborate with educational institutions in both Denmark and Ukraine.
"This new partnership will not only address the urgent needs of the Defense Forces today but also help in the further development of our radar industry. It concerns the possibility of developing new radar stations that combine battlefield experience with advanced technologies," said Oleg Hulak, CEO of the Joint Stock Company "Ukrainian Defense Industry."
Weibel Scientific is a Danish company specializing in the development and production of radar stations that use continuous wave signal emission.
