The 7th of September a contract was signed between Ukrposhta and Tetra Invest LLC for the establishment of the first new logistics and sorting center. The contractor will start the construction process in the near future.
The sorting center will cover an area of 9.2 hectares and will be located on the territory of the industrial park in Boryspil. It is planned to complete all works by the end of 2023.
Successful placement plays in favor of the project. The future sorting center will be located near the main air gate of the country - Boryspil International Airport. We are currently working on transforming the airport into an Eastern European air hub.

It should be noted that in autumn 2020, Ukrposhta leveraged about EUR 100 million of investments from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and the European Investment Bank (EIB). They will be aimed at the construction of 7 automated sorting centers and the reconstruction of the logistics network with the renewal of the depot base.
It is also here that the renovated Kyiv-Kharkiv road with access to the central, eastern and southern regions runs. This is in line with the concept that the Ministry is currently working on - systematic and comprehensive development of all areas of infrastructure. I am happy that the national postal operator is also joining this process.

The new solutions will allow for optimizing the processing time of shipments, creating an opportunity to receive orders from corporate customers 24/7 and process them within 4 hours.
