In May, at least 183 civilians were killed and 836 injured in Ukraine as a result of Russian attacks.

This was reported in a United Nations report published on June 12.

"Civilian casualties in May were recorded in 17 regions of Ukraine and Kyiv, including areas located far from the front line. Twenty-eight percent of civilian deaths were caused by missile strikes and loitering munitions. An equal share of casualties was caused by short-range drone attacks. Twenty-one percent of civilians died due to artillery shelling and MLRS strikes, and 18% as a result of air bombings," the UN reported.
