Ukrainian Spring is starting a joint project with the Paris theater Lavoir Moderne Parisien — 12 French actors will read in French 6 plays by Ukrainian playwrights: Nina Zahozhenko, Nataliya Blok, Pavel Arie, Masha Isakova, and Mykola Kulish.

Theater Lavoir Moderne Parisien is an art center that combines classics and modernity. The theater team strives to embody new performance approaches by combining music, dance, poetry, digital and contemporary art!

All the plays were translated from Ukrainian to French, especially for the drama week, thanks to the initiative of the Printemps Ukrainien team.

We are happy that, thanks to such projects, Ukrainian drama is being opened to the French public in a modern and relevant way! We invite you to spread the event among your Parisian friends and those currently in France.
