The Southern Eco-Industrial Park (located in the city of Podilsk, Podilsk District, Odessa Region) has been included in the Register of Industrial Parks. The government approved this decision at its Wednesday meeting.
“Creating a new industrial park in the Odessa region is a step toward developing the processing industry and attracting investment to the region. ‘Southern’ will create around 1,500 jobs in food production, non-metallic mineral products, machinery, furniture manufacturing, and other sectors. This is another important step in implementing the ‘Made in Ukraine’ economic policy, aimed at supporting Ukrainian manufacturers,” said Vitaliy Kindrativ, Deputy Minister of Economy, Environment, and Agriculture of Ukraine.
With this addition, Ukraine now has 105 registered industrial parks. The Southern Eco-Industrial Park is the fourteenth park added to the Register of Industrial Parks in 2025.
The initiative to create the Southern Industrial Park came from the Podilsk City Council. The park’s management company is LLC ECO RISENNYA. The total area of the industrial park is 37.39 hectares.
The park will focus on key sectors including:
- Food production
- Production of non-metallic mineral products
- Production of finished metal products
- Machinery and equipment manufacturing
- Furniture production
- Scientific and technical activities
The total estimated investment in the construction of the industrial park facilities is about UAH 3.7 billion. The Podilsk City Council has confirmed its intention to attract investments of USD 83 million for the park’s development. Funding sources will include the management company, park participants and investors, international technical assistance, as well as state and local budgets.
