During the night of July 20 (from 18:00 on July 19), Russian forces attacked Ukraine with two Kh-59/Kh-69 guided air-launched missiles from temporarily occupied Crimea and 94 attack UAVs, including Shahed drones (including jet-powered variants), Gerbera, Italmas, Banderol loitering munitions, and Parodiya-type decoy drones.

The drones were launched from directions including Kursk, Millerovo, and Oryol in Russia, Donetsk in temporarily occupied territory, and Hvardiyske in occupied Crimea.

The air attack was repelled by Ukrainian aviation, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

According to preliminary data, as of 08:00, Ukrainian air defense forces had destroyed or suppressed 81 enemy UAVs, including Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas, and other types of drones, over northern, southern, and eastern regions of Ukraine.

Hits by one missile and nine attack drones were recorded at nine locations. In addition, one missile failed to reach its target.
