One hundred Ukrainian-made ground drones were showcased at the Brave1 defense technology cluster's training ground.
This was reported by Ukraine's Minister of Digital Transformation, Mykhailo Fedorov.
The manufacturers tested medical evacuation and logistics platforms, strike drones, mine layers, and kamikaze drones.
Crash tests were conducted on the designs on difficult terrain, including potholes, barriers, fallen trees, ramps, sand, and water-filled trenches.
Additionally, the developments were tested for signal resilience under the influence of enemy electronic warfare systems. The drones were also tested for water resistance, speed and braking characteristics, and noise levels.
The trials were organized with the support of the Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Colonel Andriy Lebedenko.
"Demonstrating under combat-like conditions is an essential stage in the life of a development. Thanks to these training grounds, manufacturers understand what needs fixing to avoid surprises during actual combat use," Fedorov said.
