Ben Hodges: there is practically no chance that Russia will use nuclear weapons in the war against Ukraine
Russia has repeatedly received warnings, in particular from the United States, about the consequences in case of the use of nuclear weapons.
Lieutenant General (Retired), former commanding general of US Army Europe Ben Hodges is convinced that there is practically no chance that Russia will use nuclear weapons in the war against Ukraine.
Ben Hodges expressed this opinion in an interview with TSN.ua.
“I think the chances that Russia will use nuclear weapons are almost non-existent. It is so unlikely … President Biden warned them of catastrophic consequences. I think they believe it. And they also know that with tactical nuclear weapons, they will do nothing achieved. It won’t change the battlefield in their favor. There won’t be any bright results for Russia from using nuclear weapons. In fact, nuclear weapons work best if they are not used. Because people are going through: “God, they can use nuclear weapons. “Once they do that, it’s all over,” he said.

West Ukraine has been genocideing East Ukraine every since Obama and Biden 2014 did a COUP of Ukraine and put in a puppet president. Ukraine became a country 1991 and has been a CIA project every since.USA /CIA has been controlling media and schools teaching hate.If putin uses NUKES it will not be done on Ukraine.

I greatly respect the Honorable General B. Hodges professional military summation concerning nuclear weapons, if they are used by Russian Federation. All of humanity will suffer greatly, after a nuclear war between the U.S.A and Russia.
Hodges omitted an even more important reason why Russia won’t use nuclear weapons. Important countries that trade with Russia like China, India, Turkey, Brazil, South Africa, Indonesia, Egypt, UAE, Thailand, etc. have told Putin that if he used nuclear weapons, they could no longer have normal economic and political relations with Russia. Without these trading partners to sell to and buy from, Russia cannot survive economically.
Putin has his back up against the wall and he can’t loose because his career on the line so he would use nukes

How many of Russia’s nuclear weapons are even operational? Given the sad state of Russian military readiness, I have doubts that those devices have been properly maintained.
