In the Kharkiv region, the Russian army is constantly rotating its assault units and is amassing reserves near the city of Vovchansk and the village of Dvorichna.

This was stated in a televised broadcast by Pavlo Shamshyn, spokesperson for the Kharkiv operational-tactical group.

"The Russians have not abandoned their idea of creating a so-called buffer zone along our border. Right now, we are observing that the enemy is constantly rotating the units involved in assault operations and is bringing in and stockpiling reserves, primarily in the area of Vovchansk and the village of Dvorichna, north of Kupiansk," Shamshyn said.

He also noted that active Russian assault operations in that area have been ongoing for quite some time.

According to him, one should not expect a decrease in Russian motorcycle-borne assaults.

"Given that the training of motorcycle assault troops in Russia continues, it’s unlikely we’ll see a reduction in these attacks. The fact that they are switching to motorcycles suggests a real shortage of armored vehicles. That’s why we are now seeing less destroyed armor but more of this burned-out motorcycle junk. And considering that the cost of a Chinese motorcycle is about the same as the value of a Russian soldier’s life in Russia—extremely low—we can expect the Russians to continue these 'banzai' attacks using motorcycles," Shamshyn added.
