Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Dmytro Kuleba, emphasized the importance of preserving and increasing international support to achieve the strategic goal of Ukraine's victory and the protection of all of Europe from Russian terror.

He made this statement in an online address at the German analytical center Zentrum Liberale Moderne.

"The preservation and enhancement of international support, despite tactical political turbulence, are of great importance for achieving the goal of Ukraine's victory over Russian occupiers and expelling them from our land," he stressed.

According to the Minister, a complete and painful defeat of Russian occupying forces in Ukraine would be a just outcome of the barbaric and unprovoked aggression against our state. It would also allow for a change in Russia's trajectory.

"I am convinced that we can navigate through all the political turbulence and electoral processes that generate a lot of noise and keep our focus on achieving the strategic goal: Ukraine's victory," the head of Ukraine's Ministry of Foreign Affairs noted.

Dmytro Kuleba noted that the European Union is currently increasing its role in supporting Ukraine, even amidst the deepening involvement of the United States in its domestic electoral process.

"This demonstrates the growing global role and strength of Europe. We must remain united and resolute to put an end to Russian aggression and restore a just peace," the Minister stated.

He cautioned against giving the aggressor state the opportunity to freeze the conflict and use the pause to regroup. He reminded of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy's warning: if Russia is given a pause and the pressure is not increased, by 2028, it will have rebuilt its military potential and be ready for a new wave of aggression.

"If we follow such a dangerous scenario, the level of propaganda in Russia will only increase over these four years; hatred towards Ukraine, other European countries, and other nations will continue to grow; Russian ultranationalist, fascist, revanchist rhetoric will become even more poisonous. Under such conditions, does anyone truly believe that only Ukraine will be under the threat of a new wave of aggression in 2028?" he questioned.

The head of the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized that only a devastating defeat in Ukraine can sober Russia.

"We all must realize what is at stake. The Kremlin's goals are much broader than Ukraine. Together, we can avoid a worse scenario. It's a challenging but attainable path. A path to Ukraine's victory. Let's work together to keep the gates of Europe closed and protected from Russian terror. This will ensure decades of peace and prosperity on the European continent," he underscored.
