Since the beginning of the day on January 6, 108 combat engagements have taken place on the frontlines. The most Russian forces attacks were recorded in the Pokrovsk direction.

Ukrainian forces repelled two attacks in the Vovchansk area in the Kharkiv direction. The Russian forces launched airstrikes with GABs on the Orishanka and Udiv districts, and with NARs on Hraniv, Kharkiv region.
In the Kupiansk direction, the Russians carried out three assault actions near Synkivka, Petropavlivka, and Zahryzove. Two battles have ended, and one is still ongoing.
In the Lyman direction, the Russian troops launched seven attacks near Nadiya, Pershotravneve, and Makiivka. Battles are still ongoing.
In the Siversk direction, Russian aviation carried out strikes on Siversk with seven GABs. The enemy also attacked Ukrainian defenders near Bilohorivka.
In the Kramatorsk direction, Ukrainian defenders are repelling three attempts by the occupiers to advance in the areas of Chasiv Yar, Bila Hora, and towards Stupochky. The Russians launched 24 NARs at Stupochky.
In the Toretsk direction, the Rusians attacked twice near Shcherbynivka. Aviation bomb strikes targeted Katerynivka, Toretsk, and Oleksandro-Kalinove.
In the Pokrovsk direction, since the start of the day, the occupiers have made 16 attempts to push Ukrainian defenders from their positions near Tarasivka, Yelizavetivka, Lysivka, Zelene, Novyi Trud, and Pokrovsk. The defense forces are holding back the Russia's advance and repelled 12 attacks, with four battles still ongoing. Alexandropol was struck by an airstrike.
Today, in the Kurakhiv direction, the Russian forces attacked seven times near Slovyanka, Petropavlivka, Kurakhove, and Dachne. Six battles have ended, with one still ongoing. Andriivka was hit by FABs.
In the Vremivka direction, the occupiers attacked Ukrainian positions four times near Kostiantynopil and Kostiantynopilske. One battle is still ongoing. The Russian forces launched an airstrike with NARs near Novopol.
In the Orikhiv direction, the Russian forces attacked Ukrainian defenders once near Novodanilivka. The Russian forces also carried out an airstrike with unguided rockets on Stepnohirsk.
In the Hulyaipil and Prydniprovsk directions, the Russian army did not conduct offensive actions.
In the Kursk region, Ukrainian defenders repelled 17 attacks, and 45 battles are still ongoing.
