In the center of Kharkiv, as a result of a Russian missile strike on residential buildings, emergency services rescued five people from the rubble on the morning of August 6.
The State Emergency Service reported this.
‘The enemy carried out a missile strike on the central part of the city. Preliminary information indicates that as a result of the strike on a residential area, 8 civilians were injured, including an 8-month-old boy,’ the statement reads.
A medical facility, office and garage premises, and a dormitory of a higher educational institution were damaged. A fire broke out at the site of the attack. Emergency services rescued five people from the rubble. Firefighters continue to extinguish the fire, and rescue operations are ongoing.
