NATO to adopt Ukrainian military combat experience to strengthen defense and deter Russia. The NATO-Ukraine center has opened in Poland, where allies will learn Ukrainian tactics.

This was announced by NATO Deputy Secretary General Radmila Šekerinska during the opening ceremony of the JATEC center.

On Monday, the NATO-Ukraine Joint Analysis, Training, and Education Centre (JATEC) began operations in Poland. The center will focus on the training, education, and analysis of Ukrainian military experience in countering Russian aggression.

Šekerinska emphasized that this center is a unique joint initiative between NATO and a partner country, designed to directly adopt combat experience from Ukrainian forces.

"We will learn from Ukraine and from their firsthand experience in fighting Russian aggression," she stressed.

According to Šekerinska, JATEC will strengthen Ukraine’s security and defense sector, enhance deterrence and defense in the long term, and contribute to full operational interoperability between the Ukrainian Armed Forces and NATO forces.

She also noted that NATO continues to provide significant military assistance to Ukraine. To date, allies have delivered 99% of the promised military support, including weaponry and ammunition.

The new training center in Poland will serve as a platform to further enhance cooperation between NATO and Ukraine in the field of security.
