Silver medals of the Santa Claus Cup international figure ice skating competition in Budapest were won by two pupils of the Odessa sports school "Ldinka": Alexander Kaprishansky and Vera Fagradova.
According to the regional office of the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine, the skaters scored 39.91 points based on the results of three dances in the middle youth category. This is their first international tournament.
Alexander and Vera were in the lead after two types of the programme, but in the free dance the partner made a mistake, but on the whole I am satisfied with the performance of the athletes.
The mentor of the Odessa figure skaters
This was the first international tournament for the boys. Two more pairs of Odessans took part in it in the same age category: Vera Kachur and Daniel Matsyuk took sixth place, and Anastasia Kalamurza and Rastmir Postovar - seventh.
