As of the morning of December 22, around 3,900 trucks are waiting in queues at the Ukrainian-Polish border to enter Ukraine. This was reported by Andriy Demchenko, the spokesperson for the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, during a television broadcast.

The majority of trucks are queued at the Yagodyn-Dorohusk border crossing, with over 1,700 trucks waiting. The flow at this crossing is limited, with approximately 170 trucks crossing the border in both directions within a day, with only around 30 heading towards Poland.

Regarding other border crossings with Hungary and Slovakia, the movement of freight transport is not blocked, and there are no significant issues. However, queues have formed at certain crossings due to the actions of Polish carriers, leading drivers to choose alternative routes where border crossing is faster.

At the Uzhgorod crossing on the border with Slovakia, nearly 400 trucks are waiting, and 700 are in the direction of the Tisa crossing on the border with Hungary.

Recent queues have also developed at the Romanian border, particularly at the Porubne crossing, where 900 freight vehicles are waiting to cross.

Andriy Demchenko, the spokesperson for the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, emphasized that although queues exist, freight traffic is generally functioning normally at crossings other than those on the Polish border.
