Comprehensive support for Ukraine, the issue of demining and cooperation in the field of energy were discussed during a meeting in Kyiv by Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal, Federal Minister for European and International Affairs of the Republic of Austria Alexander Schallenberg, and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic Jan Lipavský.

"Today's visit of yours is a confirmation of political support and continued cooperation between our countries, despite the ordeals. I am grateful for the support that Ukraine receives from your countries: political, humanitarian, military. This is of paramount importance for us," said Denys Shmyhal.

The Prime Minister of Ukraine emphasized that the supply of weapons is crucial for our country not only to survive but also to win the war. Denys Shmyhal expressed hope that the 4th Ramstein format meeting will contribute to a significant improvement of Ukraine's combat potential.

"Financial support for Ukraine is just as important as military support. This increases our chances for success in this war," the Head of the Government emphasized.

The parties, among other things, discussed prolonging and intensifying sanctions pressure on russia.

The Prime Minister also appealed to Austria and the Czech Republic with a request to support the expansion of electricity exports from Ukraine.

In addition, Denys Shmyhal told the ministers of foreign affairs of Austria and the Czech Republic about the first stage of rehabilitation of Ukraine — fast recovery. According to him, demining is among its critical elements, so he called on countries to join the process.

Federal Minister for European and International Affairs of Austria Alexander Schallenberg noted that his country stands ready to cooperate in the issue of demining. He also added that Austria will continue to provide comprehensive assistance to Ukraine.

For his part, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic Jan Lipavský noted that support for Ukraine is among the main priorities for the Czech Republic during its presidency of the Council of the European Union.
