A second Estonian citizen who joined the International Legion to help Ukraine defend itself against Russian occupation has died in the war in Ukraine.
As reported by the Estonian newspaper Postimees, Tanel Kriggul, known by the call sign 'Stinger,' was fighting in the vicinity of the town of Lymanske in Donetsk region.
"A small private house where Kriggul was staying with his unit mate was hit by a Russian drone on Saturday night. The explosion was so powerful that only a pile of rubble remained of the house"
According to the publication, Kriggul joined the ranks of the International Legion last year.
