During the night of September 22 (from 9:00 p.m. on September 21), the Russian forces launched 141 strike UAVs of the Shahed, Gerbera and other types from several directions — Kursk, Oryol, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (Russia) and Chauda (occupied Crimea). About 80 of them were Shaheds.
The air assault was repelled by Ukrainian Defense Forces — aviation, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups.
According to preliminary data as of 8:30 a.m., air defense shot down or suppressed 132 UAVs of the Shahed, Gerbera and other types over the north, south, east and center of the country.
Nine strike UAVs hit seven locations, and debris from downed drones fell on eight locations.
❗️Between 4 a.m. and 6 a.m. on September 22, the Russian forces also carried out an airstrike on infrastructure in Zaporizhzhia, launching guided aerial bombs from tactical aircraft in the Tokmak area (occupied Zaporizhzhia region). Sadly, there are killed and injured among the civilian population.
