The global war began on April 8, 2025.

It is no longer a trade war, or even a world war.

This is a Global War, as it will involve two nuclear superpowers: China and the United States.

There is still hope that it will remain an indirect proxy war without direct confrontation.

Otherwise, the world will plunge into a crisis of a scale surpassing even the catastrophe of the Two World Wars.

Today, the US imposed new tariffs on China, exceeding 100% .

These are no longer corrective tariffs aimed at addressing the trade deficit but prohibitive tariffs, significantly cutting China off from the premium US market.

The "Kimerika" model (a synthesis of China and America) from the era of Deng Xiaoping and Nixon is now a thing of the past.

However, it has not been replaced by the "Aminidia" model (a synthesis of America and India), which could have caught the falling arch of the world economy and global demand.

As US Defense Secretary stated, the American fleet is heading toward the Panama Canal.

This is the US's response to Beijing blocking a deal by a Hong Kong company to sell port assets in 20 countries, including three key ports of the Panama Canal, to the Americans.

How will Beijing respond?

A sharp escalation with Taiwan is more than likely.

I will express one controversial thought.

Some cooling in relations between Kyiv and Washington could now serve as a "geopolitical safety valve" for us, helping to avoid even greater problems.

China will now choose where it can strike at US interests without direct confrontation with America.

The main thing is that China does not choose to support Russia in its war against Ukraine.

Our policy toward China must now be extremely cautious and restrained.
